Across the Arab world and its diaspora, cultural work continues to grow. However, many projects still lack resources and long-term support.
With the launch of the Tzkrti Impact Fund, the aim was to support grassroots cultural projects that are rooted in community, shaped by lived experience, and able to contribute to stronger, more connected cultural ecosystems.
In its first cycle, the fund received applications from artists, organizers, and collectives working across performance, music, sound, fine arts, poetry, theater and community-led cultural practices.
After a careful review process, the team selected two projects. Both stood out for their strong vision and their potential cultural impact.

Sound As Shelter — Belgium/Lebanon
Creating shared spaces through sound
Sound As Shelter explores what it means to create shared spaces through sound.
The project brings together immersive audio, workshops, and collaborative formats that invite participants into a collective listening experience. Through these sessions, sound becomes a way to engage with memory, displacement, and presence.
Rooted in the experience of the Arab diaspora, the work creates environments where individuals and communities can reconnect in ways that are often missing from everyday life.
With the support of the Tzkrti Impact Fund, the project will continue to develop its formats and expand to new audiences.

Palestine Music Space — Palestine
Building a resilient music scene from within
Palestine Music Space is a grassroots initiative responding to a clear gap in the Palestinian music scene: the lack of accessible, sustained support for emerging musicians.
The selected project brings together a 10-day music camp and conference, where emerging bands can collaborate, develop their sound, and engage with the wider music ecosystem.
The program combines workshops, production sessions, and open collaboration, alongside a public showcase that connects artists with audiences and industry practitioners.
By focusing on both artistic development and long-term sustainability, the project contributes to building a more resilient music scene from within.
Support from the Tzkrti Impact Fund will help bring this program into practice.
Why These Projects
The selection reflects a focus on projects that:
- are rooted in specific cultural and social contexts
- operate through collective and community-based formats
- contribute to long-term cultural infrastructure
- create spaces where culture is experienced collectively
Looking Ahead
The Tzkrti Impact Fund is part of a broader effort to support independent cultural work across the region and its diaspora.
This first cycle sets the foundation for future iterations and continued support for projects working within these ecosystems.
Stay Connected
We will be sharing updates from both projects as they develop.
Future cycles of the Tzkrti Impact Fund will be announced soon.
